WHAT WE'VE BEEN UPTO

After our Jonah series, our Primary Kids will be diving into an exciting new 6-week series called “Faith in Action.”
Through the book of Acts, we’ll be discovering what happens when ordinary people are filled with the Holy Spirit and begin to live out their faith in extraordinary ways. Our aim is to help the children see that faith is not just something we believe, but something we do—at school, at home, with friends, and in everyday life.
Over the six weeks, the children will explore:
✨ Pentecost – discovering the gift of the Holy Spirit and what it means for us today, and learning that God gives us power and presence to live for Him.
🤝 Unity in the church – seeing how the early church came together, shared everything, and showed love for one another in practical ways.
🛡️ Standing firm in faith – exploring stories of boldness and courage, and what it looks like to keep following Jesus even when it’s hard or different.
Each Sunday will include engaging bible teaching, worship, and hands-on activities to help bring these powerful stories to life in a way children can understand and apply.
As we move towards the summer, we’ll also be introducing a really exciting strand exploring science and the Bible together. Rather than being in conflict, we’ll help the children see how science actually points us towards the wonder of God’s creation. Through creative and interactive sessions, we’ll explore things like space, the water cycle, and the natural world—helping children discover how God is at work in everything around them.
The heart behind this series is simple: faith is something to be lived out, not just learned about. Our prayer is that every child will begin to see that God is with them, God works through them, and their everyday actions can make a real difference.
We can’t wait to journey through Acts with your children and to see their faith come alive in new and practical ways this term.
With love,
The Primary Kids Team
