WHAT WE'VE BEEN UPTO
From 14th September, our Primary Kids will be diving into an exciting new 5-week series called “Children in the Bible.”
So often we think of Bible heroes as grown-ups — kings, prophets, and leaders. But the truth is, God has always used children and young people in amazing ways! Through this series, we want our kids to see that they are never too young to say “yes” to what Jesus has for them.
Over five weeks, the children will discover:
✨ Hearing from God like Samuel – learning that God speaks to them too, and they can listen for His voice.
🛡️ Being brave like David – trusting God for courage when they face challenges, big or small.
🌟 Standing out like Daniel – choosing to live God’s way, even when it’s different from what others are doing.
💪 Standing up like Esther – seeing how God can use them to make a difference and fight for what’s right.
📖 Loving God’s Word like Jesus – learning how Scripture can guide, encourage, and strengthen them every day.
Each Sunday will be filled with engaging Bible teaching, worship, games, and creative activities designed to bring these stories to life in ways kids can understand and apply.
The heart behind this series is simple: God doesn’t wait for us to grow up before He calls us. He delights in children, and He loves to use their faith, courage, and obedience to show the world who He is.
Our prayer is that every child will come away from this series knowing:
To go alongside this series, we’ll be learning one memory verse together that reminds us how important children are to God and to His family. Why not test your kids at home to see if they can remember it? Or come up with your own family version with actions or a chant for them to share with us on Sunday!
