We want to prioritise our kids encountering and knowing God for themselves from a young age. From the youngest to the oldest, we have a group for your child and we are here to help them enjoy church.

You will see a big kids area as soon as you walk into the building. You will be met by our kids team who will help you check your children into a group and show you where their room is. Our kids stay in the adult meeting for the first 15 minutes and then head out to their age relevant group. Below is some information about the different groups and where they will be on a Sunday morning.

If you have a baby who is aged 0-1, you are welcome to join the other parents in the cafe where a live stream of the meeting is shown. We also have a breastfeeding room if you would like to use it.
Our 1-3 year olds have lots of fun playing with each other, making crafts and hearing stories from the Bible. If they need nappies changing, or a cuddle with their parents, then a message will pop up on screen to notify you.
Our 3-4 year olds group is full of fun activities and crafts to help them learn about how God loves them. They will also have story time to hear about some of the many different adventures we find in the Bible.
Our primary school age children will come home telling you about the crazy challenges they have been doing, showing you their new dance moves they have learnt to praise God with, and telling you what they prayed about. Their morning is filled with fun, learning, discussion and prayer. Our primary age children are split into four groups: Years R-1, Years 2-3, Years 4-5 and Year 6 for age-appropriate activities.

Toast

We run a monthly group for our Year 5-6s to enjoy hanging out and eating toast in a space where they can bring their friends. To find out more, please get in contact with Ettie Robins at ettie.robins@kingscommunitychurch.co.uk.

Safeguarding & Accessibility

We know as a parent or carer that you will be thinking of your child’s safety and wellbeing. All of our Kids team are DBS checked before they join either as staff or volunteers. We also have clear safeguarding policies and information on how to report a concern which you can read in further detail below.

We have a specialist team to support children in coming along to church and accessing all that we have available. To see more information about our accessibility support, click the button below.
